    Question choice of cars.

i have been given a choice of cars.

    Punto 1.6 8v(1996)
    Laguna sport 1.6 16v (1998)

i currently own the punto and it is a very nice car, but someone has offered me this laguna as standard and anything that wsa wrong has been fixed.
    >the punto has had a new cambelt about a month ago, new clutch (this week) good tyres, cat-back powerflow exhaust, induction kit.
    >the Laguna is standard, but has service history, new renault cambelt kit, battery, 4 new tyres, new brakes all round, and owned by a mechanic for nearly 6 years. 9 months MOT no tax £250.

not sure what to do, how much could i get for the punto, its 1.6 with 58k miles and a bit of history, and the MOT certs back up the milage.

    any help

dont wat a gt, and i dont have a family. i just think the laguna is more comfortable (AC and things like that) that the punto dont have, but not sure if it will be less fun to drive

I'd avoid the laguna like a bird with herpes. Mine was an unreliable piece of crap, and as much as I loved it when I bought it I regretted it severely. Although mine was the DCI mk2.

Plus a 1.6 in a car that size will struggle

spec on the laguna are quite impressive. i had/have a 1.2 16v sporting in the drive as well, failed MOT on rust, was going to repair it but then my dads car caught fire and it melted the front bumper and side wing, and i dont have time to repair it. Im thinking the laguna would be better cause it looks a lot more comfortable, sure i dont get a wistle and a sudden dump of air every time my foot looks at the clutch, and that i dont have to overtake every car to make me look clever, but i might just have a cheap half decent car (the heater dosnt work in the punto so its slightly chilly)
