British Drift Championship - a stunning short film

British Drift Championship (BDC) - a stunning short film by Stephen Brooks

If ever you needed to see why the British Drift Championship is so popular, watch this stunning short film produced by Stephen Brooks, where he captures the scene, the mood and the excitement involved with the 2010 Championship. We felt this film was too good not to share with others!

You can view the film on the Modified Car Insurance page of our website. Believe us when we say it is one of the best short films you will see about drifting.

If you are unfamiliar with the UK Drift scene, there are plenty of events that you can get along to see - and you will be able to check out the Driftworks Team, sponsored by Sky Insurance, in action. We are confident you will not be disappointed!

Feel free to leave your feedback

    Thanks

    Ollie

    Really?

This time of year it always rains for me

Not that you need it to rain to drift either

Yeah Shane Lynch drives for Japspeed, he's very good

Where do you get 'cant drift in the uk, not got the weather' from? You can drift perfectly in the dry, just need bit of power and lsd and your away

the UK has ideal weather for drifting. Its cool enough even in summer to help with engine temperatures. Its dry quite a bit, but even if its wet then it just means you dont go through tyres, saving money

really though, you WANT dry tarmac for drifting, it gets a bit boring cos its much slower in the wet.

course it is, its just not racing. Its like comparing figure skating to ice hockey - one has definite acheivable goals, and the other is judged on apparent skill. Both take a lot of skill and courage to pull off properly.

I daresay drifting is more exciting to watch as well, thats maybe just me though. I love seeing cars being driven on the edge of being in control. Heck, i love doing it even more, although obviously not as well as these guys lol

The UK drift scene is small comared to USA though. And obviously, Japan...

The UK drift scene is boring because its the same old few you always see, in the same cars, nothing has changed in 5yars, everything is orange etc

Every motor race ever raced is as fast that class can possibly be, on the edge of being out of control, thats how the winner wins, pushs it to the edge.

Its a side show motorsport, you can only drift on a track or away from the road. Its not something that correlates to everyday enjoyment of your car. Beach football is a laugh with your mates, but it'll never be the same as the champions league. Above all its very niche, its a niche i dont really like. Just my opinion. I still apreciate it as entertainment though.
