Nobody cleaning their car in this weather then?

    You pu$$ies..

I'm on this for the next few days. -4 where I am.

I'm going to make this somewhat a live detail thread.

The car's in for an Enhancement. It's done 200k miles, so very tired as you can imagine.

    Here's some more before pictures:

TBH that's really not too shabby for the mileage, looks undamaged too?

My -4 looks a lot more icey than yours, what with icicles hanging from the front bumper to the floor. But no I won't be washing mine, with all the paint/wheel sealant and ACF50 I applied in Autumn, I'm happy to rinse the cunto in a few weeks and she'll be good as new.

So, on with the snow foaming prior to a wash..

Old Bill paying particular attention to the trim to make sure we get rid of that grime I showed you before!!

Washing the car was fun... naaat! We need some under driveway heating to stop the floor from freezing

This is what we're left with after claying.

It's only an enhancement, so doubt this will come out, but it'll be severly lessoned. You'll see later

Machine work is up next, probs wont get around to showing you those pics till later.

I started to polish a golf on Sunday.
Too cold so I bailed after rectifying the 1/4.

Just nipped in for a pi$$! Here's what I have done since having lunch and sticking up the last update...

I'm using 3M Ultrafina, 2x smartie sized beads, on a Gloss-it 'Polishing' pad - 145mm and 95mm. SIM180 Rotary polisher with Gloss-it flexi backing plates.

    Buffed off to leave this:

    Full wing:

Also done the bonnet as you probably noticed from that last shot..

Strip lights aren't the best for spotting paint defects, but this shows the true condition of the paintwork. BMW paint is pretty tough aswell!

    Complete bonnet:

I'm actually down to the door now. Here's the wing mirror, before and after.

    Thanks for looking.

Hope you agree it's going well so far?

Just trying to throw a bit of life into this section of the forum as there's only me so far who's posted anything

    More updates to follow.
