    How can a t25 turbo be worth 60????? Sort it out, its been hybrid and its harldy covered any milage, if you can pick 1 up for 60, then why bother wasting your time asking on here!

    yeah thought the same, until it turned up, it's battered(bodywork), worst thing about it, from what ive seen with yellow gt's, good bodywork, wank, rust and bits missing underneath, this is a 61k shell never been welded and doesnt need any, but every panel is f#cked, alot of good points, which i wasn't expecting (brought it blind),
    first thing; changed a couple of simple bits afm,etc, got it running mint,
    2; done a compression test when it was warmish, got 155psi for the first 3 and around 147-149 but no lower than 147 for 4th one, thought this was a bit low for a gt3 as they are supposed to be 175ish, but then remembered it's got a piper cam and being a single cam engine, your not able to dial in inlet and exhaust cams separate, so theres a fair bit of overlap on the valve timing, anyway anyone with a bigger cam would comfirm lower compression test results.(was that a tumbleweed rolling past)! i would say hot engine standard cam would hit 165-175psi all day long on all four, the only reason i'm going into detail is due to it being battered,,(it's nothing like the pictures), so the good bits need to go, printout shows it got 196bhp, the t25 it has on it is a hybrid done by turbo developments, covered around 7000 miles, spoke to the bloke who built it today and it's the same sort of spec as the turbo technics stage 2, 360' thrust bearing, different size wheels to try suit a 1.4 better, best bit about it, it got 196bhp with the standard elbow, so its a 220bhp turbo with right/best mod(evil elbow), any bits wanted give me a shout, or any one willing to wash my motor and has got 4 grand cash can take it complete anytime today(this includes free delivery to anywhere in the uk).
