    My gt restoration.

    I recently ( last week ) bought this 1.4 gt :

    .
It has 139,000 miles and almost full service history. Mods are: FMIC, enclosed induction kit, Decatted exhaust lowered 60mm all round on shocks and springs ( look like gmax ) Also has a receipt for a superchip although that was in 2001.
I bought the car for £850 and wasnt expecting much it has m.o.t till march though and the previous m.o.t had an advisory for a pitted brake disc but today i found the floor was held together by newspaper and fiberglass.
I was going to scrap the car but i like it so here are my plans:
Weld plates to the floor to make it solid again, Paint the bonnet and wings ( both covered in stone chips), New turbo ( eventually), New cam, New exhaust and suspension. Right now i have a problem with my indicators they occasionally stop working when im using them does this sound like a relay?
    Thanks
    P.s More pics to follow

looks alright, might be worth checking other places for rust if your repairing it properly. like the rear wheel arches, behind the side skirts and the seals.

Fault could be the relay, remove the cowling from the underside of the steering column and its in there

As far as intercoolers go, it's the right 1 for the job and specifically made for the GT

Yes quite easily but if it still has the chip in that would raise the rev limit too
