The GPM Superpunto and an iconic Supercar..

Well, it's been a great weekend over this neck of the woods. Plenty of work done, and a rare opportunity for some photographs of the Superpunto, next to what can only be described as "every boys dream car". Yes, the Ferrari F40.

I'll let the photo's tell the story..

and the old Bill grinning like a cheshire cat!!

The level of detail on these cars is amazing, even the footwells are made from carbon fibre..

Not just that either, fuel filler cap too

Door cards (no, these aren't some of Tony's ABS "specials")

The most basic of interiors. You don't get alot for your £300k

Got loads of snaps. Any specifics, just ask, will see what I've got

Quick vid. I do have some of the F40, but because the numberplate is shown, unfortunately I can't show you. Sounded fckin epic!

V12 550 Marranello race car will have to suffice!!!

    Enjoy.

    Matt.

twin turbo wont sound like a V12 though daff-lad.

Looks super nice, they had two of these in the local Ferrari Dealer lastyear, 100,000k between them in price though!

My second favourate supercar, maybe 3rd. That fuel filler cap is carbon kevlar composite BTW

Yeah, there can be a lot of difference in the prices, depending on mileage and condition. This one gets used, and used as it should be (tours Europe etc). Last time it went out when it came back the general servicing and repair bill was IRO ~£15k

You're right btw, the filler cap is carbon kevlar rather than plain c/f.

Extremely nice, and very rare car.

The difference in noise between a V8 low comp twin turbo and a high comp V12 n/a car was like night and day, but for customer confidentiality reasons I can't disclose the reg and that's in the video!! Luckily the Maranello race car doesn't have plates and was on full slicks. Was quite gutted I cut the vid short, as about 2 seconds later it was blitzed back into the garage leaving a nice #11 on the tarmac

Cool as fooook. You don't realise how big and mental the F40 is until you see it in the metal. Or how shoddily some of it is built LOL.

Why did you have to ruin the pics with your rust heap in it?

I've got loads of the F40 on its own Hans, don't worry!

Neil, this all came about through me washing a few cars

Kyle, they aren't built that badly tbh, it was way ahead of its time. My dad told me a story of how an old Rolls Royce got caught on a stationary F40 back in '89/90 when he worked at RR & Bentley - it tore the rear bumper off... the Rolls!! There was only cosmetic damage to the F40 - exceptionally strong!!

Its not just the footwells and doors that are carbon, the whole car is made of carbon...
