    gt3 in Birmingham

    hi all,

    joined the forum recently , looks like youve got every angle covered on here.....

    just had my gt3 broken into by some lame spanner..........bent drivers door in half getting in..............clever little ............... you know what.

    its ducale grey if anyone can help out???

    Cant seem to find one anywhere.

    also, need to replace tank as its leaking badly...........thought 10 th the gallon was a little steep!!!! lol

    gone at the neck , the usual place for the metal tanks to go by the sounds of things.

    welcome fella!
    your best off replacing your tank with a plastic one from a lower model as it is the easiest option. you can also repair the kneck with two part epoxy putty witch sets like steel and is resistant to petrol but takes more prep. in both cases you will have to remove your tank.

    Actually the easiest option would be to replace it with another metal GT tank. No cutting anything off or p*ssing about with straps. However, finding a good one might prove difficult.

    A plastic tank will be easy to find, bit more hassle to fit but not difficult nontheless.

    Don't even bother repairing it. It will just leak again.

    i have a metal tank that dont leak infact i have 2 1 is for sale £50 collected its yours

    have a look at ebay, there is a plastic one for a good price also a yellow gt going in parts and the tank is listed.

    i repaired mine with the epoxy putty just over a year ago and have had no problems!
