    Post ecu location and removal

    what i need to know is where is the ecu located and how too remove it
    would i cause damage by checking if it is chiped
    when i bought it i was told that it was chiped but have no reciept to prove this and it has no rev limmit does this mean its chiped , what type of chips are there and can someone show me where they are fitted to the ecu.

    ben m8 wen i pop to yours il whip it out n show u........il also bring my standard chip just incase u have 1 of those fake chips that kill ur ecu

    ecu is under the scuttle panel near front window motor and its 3 10mm and to open 6 screws take lid off on each corner there is a green stick hold bottom and lever the top gently dont break it once all loose pull top half back and up and once over you should be able to see the sticker of the seb but with no limiter i would say you have one

    Use the search Ben, id be surprised if there isnt a how-to.

    Its under the scuttle panel, under the wiper on the passenger side. Easy to remove from the car, taking it to bits is abit more complicated though but still do-able for a novice.

    pics are not very clear ben, just get a seb2 chip and change it
