what would be the pros and cons of using cop system

Just a stronger system, more suited to race spec engines/big power output motors. 1000hp 4 bangers etc.

Coil packs dont go that often, but replacing a coilpack is alot cheaper then COP setup, im sure your looking at half a grand for a kit.

If any one still is still on this page just thought i would say on the dragsters i use msd coils they are basically a coil pack every 4 cylinders so i used one on my gt, makes it smoother in the lower revs and gives a bit better fuel consumption and only costs around 100 for a brand new coil and leeds
