Automatic gearbox repairs aren't really a DIY job, though. Does anyone have a Mk.2 Haynes manual?
you get the same problems with alfa gear boxes. prob needs new slave master cyclinder check for any leaking oil under the car.
i had the same prob with my alfa 147 cost 300
im gonna give this one a miss thanks for the input
Hey! I recommend a garage that is very good with price that mended my gearbox! Automatic Man based Acton, London. Go check them out!
ha....maybe after youve done a few more posts than just your first you on the payroll?
poor pidster, 3 years hes waited for help with that
Theirs no such thing as a slave master cyllinder there are slave cyllinders located on the top of the box and the master cyllinder usually located at the pedal box. Alfa gearboxes don't give trouble, at the end of the day an Alfa gearbox is just as suseptable o wear as any other manufacturers gearbox.
