Looks just like my old Firebird, that I leased when I was over there '82-'84. They do not handle well and have overpowered, lifeless PAS. So, a 26 or 28-ish year old car, no wonder it disintegrated. Terribly nose-heavy, too, with none too good braking, as standard.

IIRC, the belts in mine were diagonal only. But I'm not 100% on that, it's trivia from nearly 30 years ago.
