    Local area section

Been thinking past couple of days about re-doing the above. Instead of having regions as in south east, south west, etc. Split into and pair up neighbouring counties, such as Essex & Kent, Sussex and Surrey, etc.

My reason for this is that not much happens these days in the way of meets, and I believe this is due too the area's being so large, for some people to attend a meet, it can be nearly a 2 hr drive. If the area were smaller, I think it would get the local members together a bit more.

See the link for example, I know I refer to sxoc alot, but it really us a well run and laid out club http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=122

    Any thoughts on the idea?

Might be a good idea. It wouldn't work very well oop 'ere because there's hardly any northern members but in the south certainly.

Sounds like a good idea, i don't usually mind the drive but Todds right. The 'south east meets' usually based around bluewater and surrounding areas are a good 90 minute - 2 hour drive for me.

Midlands covers everything from the welsh border right over to the norfolk coast I know there are only a few east anglian members but we're hardly going to attend weekly meets in Birmingham
