bypass the fuel pump with a connection from the fuse to battery and let the pump chuck it all out the pipe after you disconnect it from the fuel rail
My friend has some dodgy petrol in her 1.2 16v, we need to get it out.
I was thinking, hose pipe and a mouthful of petrol, or could I just disconnect the fuel filter?
Cheers,
Ben

Could I just unplug the coilpack, unplug the fuel filter and turn the ignition over?
turning the ignition over will flatten the battery before you pump all of the fuel out, and disconnecting it by the fuel filter will mean you will still have the shitty fuel in the line from the filter to the rail.
Just run a live from battery to the pump and catch the fuel from the filter, whats left in the line will soon get used up when started
So I need to unplug the pump, and just put a constant live from the battery to the pump. Do u know what colour wire the constant goes to?
Also, will I need an inline fuse on the live?
Ben easy way would be to take up the rear bench, unscrew the cap for the tank and scoop out the petrol with a small beaker, will take 10min in totall. Had to do this once when i had the same proplem.
easier? Lol i'd rather unclip one fuel pipe and run 1 wire from battery to connector on pump and let the pump do the work for me
cant remember what wire it is but theres only a few there, really simple to do
