1999 GT For Sale

The time has come to sell my GT.

For those who don't know I have been on here since 2002, before that I was on the Yahoo groups. Over the years I've had 4 puntos, 1 sporting and 3 Gt`s

I bought this GT around a year and half ago and it took me a while to find it, getting a good GT is never easy!. Im very picky when it comes to cars, I have just bought an Alfa 156 and it took me 4 months to find a good one, basically what im trying to say is I take my time and make sure I get the right car.

Im going to be a Dad in January so we got the Alfa to replace the GT so its got to go.

The car needs the drivers side trailing arm doing, I got the passenger one done a few weeks ago now the other side has gone and knocks. It drives fine but it would need doing pretty soon,

I know allot of you on here could do this yourself for hardly anything so to save me buggering about leaving the car with a garage for a week (the specialist I go to is miles away) I thought one of you might like it as is, even if you dont do it yourself you can get it done for about £150 ish with labour

When i got the arm done the car also had new rear discs and pads.

Bleed Valve
Grooved front discs and uprated pads.
Lowered on Bilstein Sport shocks and springs, not cheap £600+ kit
Magnex DTM Exhaust – Still has cat on it and a hollowed out cat if you want one ill throw it in.
Nomdad Twin Piller Pod with Tim Boost and Volt Gauge.
No Stereo with the car but will leave the 12” sub, amp and wiring
Abarth Spoiler (no factory fit, spray job ok not to bad a match but some pitting to one side)
Big Folder of receipts, one for a new clutch around 80 thousand so you don't have to worry about that.
Always cleaned with Meguiars and Autoglym products


Not so great bits.

Bought the car with some damage to the left hand side sill and the lower edge of the door. I patched the sill up but the door I left alone. It could do with a little more filler and a pro spray job. Dont think it would cost that much to sort out, as you can the job I did isn't that noticeable as its low down.

Both sides have key marks, one side was already like it when I bought it the other happened in a car park in Guildford. Im a very picky person, I bought in some special paint to make it as good as possible, search my old posts for the results. When clean and polished you have to be up close to see it, the only true way is to come and have a look! The new owner can have what I have left of the kit.

So, as is I want £1300 ono if no one takes it ill keep driving it until the baby is nearer then Mot it and put it up for more.

Car is near Leatherhead Surrey, nearest Motorway is Junction 9 M25. All pictures have been taken today, the sun was not out and they dont do the colour justice.

few bits i forgot

Alarm is disconected and the fob doesnt work. Never looked into it, might be easy to sort. My last GT was like this as well, i think some people disconect the alarm as it can drain the battery.

One of the engine gaskets is weeping slightly, every GT i have had has done this.

Car has been garaged since i got it but now the Alfas there it needs to go as i dont like leaving it out!
