punto gt vs mk1 uno turbo

Having bought my first punto gt which i intending to break i have to say i really like it, i've driven it about 200 miles since i bought it to home and to garage to be stripped,

but to me it seemed nice and quiet, comfortable and fast, much more solid feel to it compared to my uno, i really enjoyed driving it.

I'm going to be saving up some money and i defo wanna buy a mint gt.
some pics sorry prob already posted them up before on here.

uno is defo quicker though lol

Got to agree with you there. I regretted selling my MK1, but after getting my GT I never looked back. Much slower in comparison to my uno, but my GT is still standard (power wise). I will try and get some pics up later. Your uno looks immaculate though.

i do agree but, ive had both and love both still yet even tho the gt is more refined than the uno i love the feeling of the uno and the fact there is no power steering, it just feels so nice and really retro.

I dont want a project tbh and that blue gt2 i have has had a proper shafting by its previous owner or owners, the amount of history it has its such a shame looks like someone has spent loads of money on it. I would rather pay 1500+ and get a mint standard example than the 350 i paid for this trashed one.

    anish looks nice mate,

the punto gt and uno turbo are so simular is many ways but in others totally different, i really like how solid the gt is and how comfortable it was to drive unlike the uno which is raw loud and rattly

shame fiat didnt spend a bit more money on rust protecting them both

i prefer the MK2 1372 but i remember being made to look a bit limp wristed by a 1301cc uno turbo back in the day when i had a few quid and owned a 2003 Focus RS. i was caning my ford and even round a few bends this uno just kept the hammer down! stopped up the road and chatted to the guy and it look completely standard under the bonnet but it might have had a bleed valve for a bit extra naughty boost. thats lightweight for you... respek
