S4 engine was compound charged Grp b Engine. Stronger block I think.

Delta S4 had a special TC engine, it was overbored to 88mm, but the stroke was 71.5mm for high revving, as in 1.6litre TC engines is (like Ritmo 105TC), the TC engine's stock bore size was "only" 84mm

Mass production TC engine sizes are:
1.6 litre: 84x71.5 (Delta HF Turbo, Delta HF 4WD)
1.8 litre: 84x79.2 (Tipo 1.8 16v)
2.0 litre: 84x90 (Ritmo 130TC, Delta HF Integrale, Coupe 16v Turbo...)
