    20vt

just a few pictures of what i have been working on.

Fitted with a gt2871r, 3" straight through exhaust, evo front mount.

The fella i bought it off told me it was mapped to 347bhp but there was no graph which in my eyes says that is pure bulls**t. It is on standard internals also but saving to go forged. Far from finished and only doing it after work/weekends. Giving it a full re-spray at the same time. hopefully have it ready by the end of the August.

thanks lads, its difficult with no crane but you just have to take your time. The subframe needed a lot of fabrication and still needs a small bit more. One cpoupe driveshaft can be used but the other needs to be shortened quite a lot. I will be using the coupe cv joints as i feel the punto ones will break.

i can see the work gone into it but it wont handle unless it on a good quality set of coilovers, ive spoken to a lad who did one and it was on spax rsx coilies and he still wishes he'd of done the 16vt, looks abit untidy are you going to paint anything up or at least degrease it? lol

the whole car will be getting painted, the engine will be coming out soon to remove the air-con, weld the cracked manifold and do all the belts.

Once i am happy with the engine i will concentrate on the suspension and chassis. i will be looking into camber adjustment, good coilovers and custom strut brases.

Looks like a good start mate, of course it's going to look a bit rough around the edges in the first stages. Difficult stuff without a proper workshop full of fabrication tools. Good luck lol.
