    Poly bushes

Just called up powerflex for some info on what they did for the punto gt, they said they only do the wish bones polybushes at the moment, she did say that they where experimenting and makin different ones for the gt a year ago but they had a massive fire n lost alot of there molds n research, but there goin to start again this year

I was just wondering if there is another company that do poly bushes?

    LOL^

Also SuperPro are new players in the game.

However, lets be realistic: What company in their right business mind is going to outlay the cost however small or large to develp a range of bushes for a 13-19year old Punto that was never used in competition or similar.

You're best bet is to find out if a company would be interested in a limited run and forma group buy.

Personally though, unless the car is for track, you dont want more than the odd polybush!

Dan did u say the puntos handle badly because of the way the top parts of the suspension was mounted? If that makes sense

They handle badly because the chassis is too soft.

Stiffening up the joints on the suspension isnt going to remedy that and just make the ride forking horrible on these Great British roads. Trailing arms don't help, nor does the front suspension geometry either I suppose.

What's the best way of stiffening the chassis up?

Dismantle the car, blast the paint off, remove the panel sealer and get jolly with the MIG.

A roll cage would really help, but won't sort the chassis on its own, and can be more dangerous than not on the road where you don't use a helmet to stop you smashing your brains out if you end up cartwheeling down the road, which many puntos have and do
