No it doesn't lol.
Honesty chris, I wouldn't bother if it's gonna cost u anything.
The new upgrade makes it identical with other iPhone.

If your trying to say that the old iPhone with the new upgrade is identical to the new iPhone, then you couldn't be more wrong. The new iPhone is a million times better than the old one. I got the new one on Thursday and compared to my old one its like night and day. It's brilliant! I can't speak highly enough of it.
Yeah software is the same, but that's it...

software yes, usability no.
iOS4 was designed for the iPhone 4 so it runs alot better and alot smoother on the iPhone 4. It has the A4 processor chip (which also was specifically designed for iPhone 4) and is running 512mb of RAM compared to the previous generation's 256mb.
Fellow Iphone 4 users lend me your ears.
Situation :- Iphone 4 found in pub by my mate with T-mobile contract sim in it. Sim removed, Iphone was disabled due to incorrect attempts at password entry.
Full restore carried out on phone putting it back to O/E settings, PAYG
T-Mobile sim cut down to micro size and put into phone.
Phone registering as seeing SIM, Has T-Mobile in upper corner, but wont let me call 150 to top up sim, send a text or connect to internet.
Also when you try to call the number it says calls are currently not being connected to this number.
Tried the SIM in another phone before putting into Iphone and SIM works fine, i.e can call 150 etc.
Any ideas chaps?
i'd guess the IMEI for the phones been blocked as it's technically 'stolen' You can get round it but it's illegal of course
Ah got ya, see i said this to him but we couldnt see how it was blocked considering the SIM was removed almost as soon as it was found and i dont think the person who lost it would of contacted them so soon.
SO bascially even with no SIM in the Phones IMEI can be blocked making it impossible to use as a phone?
