    **** K & N cone filter ****

    As above, K & N cone filter.

    Used for approx 8000 miles.
    Good condition.
    Could do with a clean.

    Arent they meant to be red'y pink colour? Defo needs a wash and re-oil

    Serious? No they're not, I've got three and none of them show any signs of ever being red even after a good wash.

    Its the protective oil that is redish in colour. The paper filter is white.. have you ever used the KnN filter charger kit?

    Nope, I've only got Pipercross and BMC oils.

    Pipercross oil is for like a sponge type filter i think.

    The KnN spray oil is red in colour. once washed and dried the filter does go white/ greyish. A couple of thin coats bring it back to its former glory so to speak. Just have to be careful not to drench it!

    Yes it is indeed, and the BMC one is for cotton. Not really sure where this conversation is going?
