    alfa 156 cheap as chips to buy good on fuel pretty nippy look lovely and 2k will pick u up a minter with most options need i say more

    Afraid i can agree with you there....find the 156's quite ugly looking.

    Wouldnt mind a newish 147 or a 159 though.

    If you stick to a TS engine with the Alfa they are good engines, just make sure you pay a little bit more for one which has a recent variator and cambelt change. As they are due every 36K at around £500.

    If you take those things into account you can't go too wrong.

    The 156 1.8/2.0 TS would be a good bet.

    look at a 156 with the alfa zender kit on it they look lovely
