hi from a newbie GT3 owner

Hi

I have a 1997 GT3. Bought in 2002, died in 2004, off the road more than on for the last 6 years, and collected it from the garage again yesterday afternoon. I just keep coming back to this car (my 1986 Panda doesn't quite cut the mustard)

I am so glad I found this forum!

Yesterday I noticed a raspberry/flapping sound coming from the windshield. I'm hoping it's just the wipers and that the windscreen's not going to fall off Also the fuel pump's whining lot louder than I remember, the fuel injector light's on constantly and the turbo is lumpy. Looks like the piggy bank's about to get raided again ... any advice/suggestions would be welcome!!

you need to do a "blink test" to determine what the ECU's telling you here. See the "Blink Test Codes" sticky thread in the Mark 1 "Turbocharged Models..." subforum.

Absolutely! It was on the street for about 2 years, then (after numerous parking tickets) we got a garage.
