Any idea on what sort of mileage its covered?
Standard GT IHI VL7 Turbo taken from the original GT2 engine that was in my car.
As pictured. No sideways play in shaft. Was in full working order when engine was removed from car.
£100 delivered.

plus is it cracked?
I will have to take the elbow off and check for cracks, completely forgot to check. I will check the mileage of the car when I go back over to check for cracks.

ok thats great. Can you also check that the shaft when looking into the compressor housing doesnt move in and out, just a minimal amount of sideways play if anything.
If thats all ok, and no cracks, consider it sold i have cash waiting. First refusal please
Some good new and some bad news. Should have checked before I posted up.
Firstly the bad news. Mileage is unknown, I don't have the original dials that came with the car so can't tell. There is also some play (3-4mm) on the shaft in and out not side to side.
But the good news is there exhaust housing looks to be uncracked.

Hmmm, its the in-out play that kills em. That means the thrust bearing has worn and both the turbines will of been fouling the housings.
These IHI's seem particularly bad for failing in this way.

Yeah by all means.
Like I said it worked perfectly before I removed the engine.
