Must have mis-remembered something I was told. My best mate's wife drove their AC Greyhound around Zandvoort many years ago, and I seem to remember a comment about the sand encroaching on the track (tricky!) back then.

Being a track smack in the middle of the beachdunes you can have the possibility of dust/sand on the track.

But after racing 10+ times here, I never saw/encoutered this risc. Sure, if it's been real dry for a couple of days and a signifacant wind can make this a real tricky track But I never seen this till this day.

I've got to say that not only on pictures but also in real life its a great car to see.
Very nice exhaust note also .... nice and a bit raw sound but not realy loud.

Keep up the good work and see ya next time.

    3 years later...

Punto had been put on a low priority and I lost my touch with forums, but things are starting to fire up again

HGT is still alive and kicking hard: it's still roadlegal, but a Punto Sporting took over de daily rides, so her life is limited to trackdays and testing in between.

These upgrades where made since my last post here:
    Supersprint manifold

Powersprint exhaust line (wrapped) with 200 cpi racecat

    Ultra Racing bottom bars
    Ferodo DS3000
    OZ Ultraleggera 16"
    Toyo R1R 195/50/16

The H&R spacers weren't put on, cause 20mm per wheel was a bit to much

QSP steering wheel 70mm with snap-off

    Tracktime

She is starting to handle like a cart, especially with the R1R's and the braking with the WMS in combination with the DS3000 has been a enormous improvement.
The Koni Coilover is now the weakest link (way to soft on agressive cornering), so I''m looking for a race Intraxx or XYZ kit.

In the near future she's gonna be stripped and 'caged', with some new seats. All FIA certified, in case I can have a go at my racing permit

Hope you can appreciate what I'm 'doing' to her, but I bet she likes it

Ahh very good. I wonder if these would fit a Mk1.

No they don't list them but I know OMP make a front brace for a MK2 that fits a MK1 as the dimensions are the same.
