Get a rope, tie it to the lampost and reverse, should do the trick
This happened when a Punto I know crashed.
I just gave it a good tug by swinging on it to pull it about, this way you won't get any hammer marks.

as rich says mate mine pushed back when i had my crash, put rope not round the slam panel but the lower crash panel and tie other end to post and reverse! works a treat
snap ive done the rope thing round a lamp post worked with couple of tugs
Hardly the worst day of your life now is it...............
hahah was pretty bad ass though! so gutted ive never had an accident before and it was just a shock, stupid mistake that i wont be doing again! i'll do that when i get home i got a solid concrete one outside, hope its secure enough lol. So tie it round the slam panel then tie that to a lamppost and tie another bit of rope to the lower panel, not the crossmember?
just got back to bournemouth from windsor took me 3 hours and 45 minutes 3 trains and a bus later. This is why i bought a car public transport is ****!

Timing was perfect, but a pain in the bloody arse as i didnt have money set aside for the car bar mot and tax. Now im paying for the body parts and my parents are going to help me out with tax and mot.
Pretty sure the rear radius arms are busted on my car too!
