I had a few races with scoobies in my seb2 gt, and your usual wrx with exhaust and breathing mods i'd beat to about a tonne, i even beat one at pod lol
if it is the non turbo a saxo vtr can spank it think all that weight with 4wd its SSSSLLLLOOOWWWWW i have been in one and not impressed
i may be wrong but i thought the na impreza's we're just fwd as a lad i know used to have one.
well there are the option you can have a fwd or a the sport 4wd and i imagine if this lad was wanting a scooby he wont settle for a non sport
had a little race witha 2l turbo, i lost but i wasnt far off to be fair, good old little punto. The scooby got the good start due to its 4wd, i was just spinning loads i think my car needs new shoes
yeah ive pasted a few scoobies meself. usually in 1st and 2nd gear as thats where the GT really flies if you get the take off right. not talking full on STis by the way as they have over 300bhp so what chance has a 1.3 litre punto got against that sort of power and the added 4wd traction advantage
still with petrol at 1.20 a litre now i'll stick with my wee GT as its good for most of youre everyday shenanigans.......
isnt it just =)
This is where VTEC's are coming into their own now. @ £1.27 for VPower around here, it's just aswell mine has 2 cam profiles!! I can potter around on the small cam and get 32/33mpg
i had a non turbo scooby and a standard GT would kill it no questions, if theres no turbo on a scooby theres no point, heavy slow and 4wd and eats fuel, looked nice but that was about it! i sold it and got another GT
