painting the inside of my GT

if i was to go and buy some black hammerite, could i just paint over the metal under my rear seats and in the boot, without sanding it and prepping it? just wondering what other people have done, pictures for ideas would be good.

yeh far as a know dude u can do that as ive done it looks spot on!!

You can paint whatever you like, but if you don't prep it, it will look cack!
Anyway, not as though you will have dents to prep.

Just get some scotch and a bucket water and spend an hour keying it up.

yer i suppose so! its needs to be cleaned out first so i might aswell sand it.

must sand. paint no stick to shiny old paint. a rub with p500 or a scotch will do the job if your hammeriting.
