Hi guys, im new to this and looking for tips from the pros

    Hi guys,
i have a gt3 and im looking to get a bit more power out of it.
So far ive had it remapped, was told by the previous owner it has been "cammed" (im not sure what this means, if you know please explain) and it has been decatted.
I'm hoping to pass 200bhp and am looking for cost effective ways of doing so.
All help is very much appreciated, thanks guys

    welcome to PSC

"cammed" is a term for having high lift cams.

a camshaft is a shaft which spins on top of the valves in the head to open and close them using springs and rockers. using high lift cams (bigger and longer lobes) it allows the valve to stay open for longer to let in more air/fuel mixture so more power.

im assuming you know what a de-cat is though

You'll need to upgrade to a GT25 or similiar if you want 200bhp+, then with seb 4.11, decat, good exhaust, Front Mount Inter Cooler etc. that should be quite straight forward.
