Just about to drop the car off for it's MOT in the morning... I'm not feeling lucky lol. Also getting them to chuck on the new actuator so I might actually get some boost, re-wire my rear numberplate lights and check for a fuel leak.

To fit a actuator will be at least £250.
Should have just replaced to turbo
No way is it a proper mission job then!?
It's a turbo off job.
Which means.
Inlet off
Exhaust off
Manifold off
Then when the turbo is finally off they will piss about removing the old one and then fitting the new one.
As I said, u should have just replaced the turbo and had a crack yourself.

Although for your sake I hope it isn't that much. If it wasn't for the actuator going on I would have said £200.

EPIC fail!
£733 plus fitting to get it through the MOT. That's not including the actuator or other bits I mentioned... it failed on fuel tank, handbrake, hazard switch and something else. I'm only going by what my mum heard over the phone, I'll be going to pick it up in a minute.
So, vulchers your time is coming...
