Yeah it was.. was like that when I bought it.. engine runs quite good though and mechanics as well

Mind you I have never seem a cone filter being used with the standard box in place

I dunno about that.. maybe would remove the cone filter and put in the standard normal pipe.. the previous owner could have had an aftermarket air filter but lost the original so he just left the cone filter and kept the aftermarket to himself
