Mk2 1.2 16v ELX Head unit replacement

I'm fitting an after market head unit to a Punto Mk2 1.2 16v ELX, I've got the fascia surround, ISO connector ariel adapter etc, When I took out the original stereo, there are the standard 2 plugs for speakers, power, remote, earth etc that go nicely into the ISO block. The ariel adapter etc, but does anyone know what on earth the other plug is? it has around 15-20 pins and only 3 or 4 of them are wired.

I think the built in 100w Sub woofer in the boot runs off the same harnes as the speakers, so I don't think its that, or am I wrong and the Sub is no longer going to work? haven't put it in yet because I've decided to ditch the shitty old JVC and go for something nice like an Alpine.

Are you talking about coloured plug? Like Yellow Green and some red or something? Because when i pluged mine all in just left that free. Lol.
