punto gt running problems

hi every 1 i have a punto gt on a 1995 m reg the problem with it is that no matter if engine is hot or cold wen u accelerate the injecter lite comes on and the engine misfires and if you try and accelerate the car kangaroos if you dnt touch the accelerater the light goes out then you can accelerate this happens all the time please sum1 try and help i am mechanicly minded but this has stumped me

sounds like a boost leak or the afm is knackered

Sounds like AFM, see if you can buy some punctuation at the same shop you get the AFM from.
