Someone has only gone and kicked my drivers side mirror loose on the bloody car saturday night and taken the cap!! what a pain in the backside they are colour coded too (gun metal)

There everywhere! bored stupid kids or drunks... i tuck mine in everytime i park up where i live, still hasn't stopped one of em being kicked putting a hole in the cover
Both mine were ripped off a few days after i put the deposit down!. Luckily the covers did not get damaged so i just bought a new pair of mirrors
This happened to me in my MX5 and caused me to crash and break my jaw. (Along with my crap driving)
yep happend to me both my wing mirrors were snaped off over christmas
have you tried tightening the screws underneath? usually hidden with little rubber bungs. you might be able to stop it flapping a bit.
