Gaz your not going to like my very much, i got me some black angels.... i'll post pics up on the project thread tomorrow, i just need to wire in the left hand sides side lights and halo ring then done.

HID's are nothing to do with angel eyes so not quite sure what you mean by proper? some people have HID's some don't, although generally people tend to use them with angel eyes because as opposed to the original lights which are reflector headlamps, the angels use projectors for the dipped beam.

Sorry to labour the point, but does this mean that HIDs are more effective with angel eyes than stock headlight units, then?

Yea they will be, more concentrated beam pattern, the reflector scatters it a lot more
