If I could butt in: when people talk about Angel Eyes and the like do they have 'proper' HID units fitted?

I wouldn't see much point in going to the trouble/expense of chainging my light units, and not having HID whilst I was at it.

HID's are nothing to do with angel eyes so not quite sure what you mean by proper? some people have HID's some don't, although generally people tend to use them with angel eyes because as opposed to the original lights which are reflector headlamps, the angels use projectors for the dipped beam.
