Any1 know what grades of sand paper I should use???

Planning on spraying a few bits here and there, nuthing too big, but wana get the best finish possible

SO what grade do i use

Then after I have primed what do I use?

    Then wen it is painted?

And then does it need a quick sand after laquer?

    Cheers

    What exactly are you spraying?

Always start with a low grade, wheels (80, 160,320) then get higher and finish on about 1200 BEFORE primer.
Other things such as plastics start on about 600,800 etc.
    Always start dry then wet

After each coat of primer (wait about 20 mins), get 2000grade with some water and lightly sand, not hard but enough pressure to take uneven areas off.

Then apply paint, I never sand after paint as it simply dulls the paint however I have heard people use cutting compound with really really high grade if you are not lacquering however if you are I wouldn't sand after the colour.

Different people work in different ways.
I personally hit it with a 240 then 320 then 500... All dry!
Bit of primer then a light 1000 to take the edge off.

flat primer first with p800 wet, finish off your primer with p1200 wet.

you dont sand inbetween coats of base (colour) unless you make a mess of it!

for final finishing after lacquer use p2000 wet and it will be ok to polish up.
