Depends how bad it is mate, a veryl slight blow and you can get away with it, but if its bad enough they wont be able to get an accurate reading and itll fail

i dont think its to bad, you can only really hear it blowin when u get passed 4,000rpm nd very slighty on tickover when its cold,

will it be alright if its got lots of sealent on it, (which wont look to pretty)

they cnt fail it for dodgey joints as long as it doesnt blow can they?

Really depends on the test station too. I think some garages would let you get away with a very slight blow.

There is meant to be a universal code of practice. The reality is the rules are twisted more at some garages than others.

There was a guy on FiatForum who owned a right shed, was de-cat as well etc. and the MOT certificate can't have been worth the paper it was written on!

my dad is a m.o.t tester and will not pass a any blow in the exhust, reason being gases can get into the cabin. but like said above it depends on the m.o.t station
