    power steering pump belt tensioner

    wats the easiest way to put the power steering belt tensioner back on as it fell off?? taking the inlet off?? is that the easiest?

    inlet off pretty much the only way ull be able to do it, would be worth puting a new belt on and if the cambelts due do that to

    NOt an easy job.


    I did it front underneith once when i was still learning, got my hand stuck though, was there for quite abit!

    just take ur time when loosing the pas belts tensioner so that u rember how to tension the belt on properly or ul be makeing some horriable belt noises

    basically i loosened the belt tunsiorner to move the bracket out the way when i done my turbo change.. because i couldnt get the exhaust manifold off and the belt tensioner fell off and i forgot to put it back on which is a pain...but its okay the engines comin out this weekend il just put it back on then..

    on to engine changes do u no if he gt3 ecu works on the gt1 engine??

    tbh im not to sure if it would or not work, i reckon if its the right ecu for the car key chances are it will work and if it doesnt get or borrow a gt1 ecu to try

    ive got both u c ive got a gt1 and a gt3 but the gt1 is rotten and the gt3s mint... so i wanna change engines coz the gt3 engine blew up... ive been told just to change all the sensors on the old engine with the 1s from the newer 1... spose its worth a try

    any engine, any ECU.

    my GT3 is on a GT1 ECU

    strange why they would put different numbers on them for gt1, gt2 and 3 if everything was the same?
