well ive decided to sell my Punto GT
ive been driving it for the last 2 weeks after spending 9 weeks off the road
it was off the road having the engine rebuilt
me and a friend rebuilt the engine, my friend builds and sells rally cars so its been done right with no corners cut

1995 on an M plate (M220oop)
midnight blue (i think lol)
just over 70k miles with every MOT slip to prove
it is tax'd untill the end of november but i may tax it if i get what i want price wise
MOT is 06/10 im sure (will double check)
engine rebuilt sept/oct 2009
new rings
new bearings
new thrust bearings
new valve guides
head was skimmed
cylinders honed
valves were lapped
clutch was changed with another 1 i had which was very good condition
new clutch release bearing
new gearbox oil
all gaskets replaced with new headbolts
brand new cranks sensor
NGK racing plugs
blue vaccum piping
turbo was replaced just before the rebuild (approx 40k on the turbo)
full magnex DTM exhaust from the downpipe back (larger od than standard)
de-cat
GT3 alloys
lowered 40mm
rear windows tints
Puntosports stickers lol (must add at least £500 at least)
interior is in good condition with minimal wear
blue interior dash plastics
auto guage boost guage
car will come with cd player with aux out and usb
2 sony xplod speakers (6x9 type but round)
12" sub (no box)
all the wiring for it
the block was painted in black hammerite
cam-box, lid and inlet are sprayed light blue which looks good against the blue vaccum piping
various other parts have been sprayed silver as well
de-locked
clifford Cat 1 alarm (needs small part wired up)
a box load of reciepts for it as well

now for the bad bits as all cars do

it was running fine untill a few days ago when it starting going down on power
i done the blink test and it same up with phase sensor
i re-alligned it and got rid of the code but now its saying crank sensor
i put a brand new one on during the rebuild but it was a pattern part not genuine fiat
the problems im getting do lean towards the cranks sensor (revs dying, jerkyness etc)
id say a new crank sensor on it will fix it, if i can get one ill try it first and let you know
the body work isnt perfect but its 14 years old lol, it has the usual dent on the rear panel which 90% of puntos have
slight dent on the bonnet
and also a couple scratches on the roof
easily fixed for someone in the know

the car has had a shed load of money and hours spent on it (just ask the ex-GF lol)
it will not take much to get it running 100%
the car is driveable but can run lumpy at times

with the low mileage and engine rebuild im sure it will sell ok so im putting it up at £1400ovno if i get it running before it sells the price will go up

will be going on Pistonheads soon

i also have a shed load of spares for it aswell like a standard cam, cam box loads of pipes, turbo(unknown condition)

im located 60 mile north of newcastle and 50 miles south of edinburgh

delivery may be available from a friend but will need to check

ive done my best to describe the car, if i think of anything else it will be added

plenty of pictures and info on the car in my project thread here
