Ive chosen the route im taking and it aint cheap lol, car will miss probably the whole of show season next year but will be worth it. Will be investing in a 2.2 stroker kit, and currently in negotiation with another member on sxoc about a top mount turbo kit consisting of the following

1 x HKS T300 turbo (similiar to Greddy TD06-25g) No play at all, reconditioned, oil cooled.
1 x HKS external wastegate (large)
1 x stainless top mounted manifold with external wastegate option
1 x downpipe (split into multiple sections for posting, will need welding together)
1 x screamer pipe
Intercooler elbow and pipework
Samco's and turbo gaskets.
Adapters, flanges.

defo the right choice not going for the rb conversion mate. they handle **** from what iv heard with the rb inn. looks a nice turbo setup too mate. cant help but think you`l get alot of lag with that turbo though fella. them sort of turbo`s are rated for 600bhp+. what sort of power you after mate? there`s currentley a really good deal on sxoc for a Garrett GT3076R top mount kit from mazwork racing. personally mate i think a gt30 would be a much better suited turbo mate.

td06- 20g is another good option mate. got one on mine, very good turbo`s imo and not too laggy. more than welcome to have a drive of mine one time mate if you want fella. just drop us a text

i've decided not to go for that turbo and am looking at the gt30r top mount at the moment. I've heard great things about your turbo, but they are expensive bits of kit. I might have to get you to take me out in yours. What turbo is abbott running?

abs is running a gt2871 although is engine is out at the mo mate, no oil pressure . really do think the gt30 is your best bet mate definatley check out the deal on the sxoc mate. i know alot people who run these turbo`s and have only heard good things.
