lux? do you mean luk?
Aight fellas well went into ecp yesturday to get some bits for my gt.
Anyway asked for a clutch kit and he said there was 3 avalilble
1. Transmech clutch kit = £43
2. Lux kit = £57
3. Valeo kit - 101.50
Now these are all oem parts, so should be same really but i cant justify myself to pay 101.50 for a clutch kit when i know lux kits are very good for half the price! anyway i asked about these transmech clutches and apparently there very popular with euro car parts, made in the uk and give a 2 year warranty with them. Has anyone ever used one on any car? tried googling it but nothing really, just people like me asking the same question on different forums lol.

fit loads of transhit ones there cheap and nasty 1.2 snap them stick a proper clutch in a gt
luk yeah thats what i ment
i didnt buy one before i found out reviews because i was very sketchy considering it was more than half the price of a valeo kit!
i think i'll stick with a luk kit tbh, had them fitting on a mk2 punto and a mk5 escort few years back and were perfect tbh.
id buy the luk one mate, i fit alot of luk clutches and never had any problem
init cant justify myself to spend double that on a valeo kit thats most likely the same tbh!
valeo is the oem fiat make, id choose that tbh, once its done itll be done for good,
surely a luk kit would be just as good quality though right?
LuK is as good as valeo IME, dunno abou the GT but its true for plenty cars.
Valeo are the way to go.
