    Talking Hey from Denmark

    Greets from Denmark.

    New punto owner, and proud

I just got a mk2 sporting in black. Needs a bit of work, but the price reflects that luckily. (pictures will follow )
Iīm used to oldtimer 4 speeds, and the ocational exotic 5 speeds
The only six speed i drive nomally is my good ole shifter kart. It makes it so much fun to drive in traffic with a couple of xtra gears, keeps you busy in a good way. I keep looking down at the stick, when changing into 6th, as if to see if it is really there

The rust is starting to get at it, so i need to get to that, before they salt the roads in the winter, which is a lot in Denmark!

My plans are, to make it a bit fitter again, including painting the roof, rear hatch, and bumper. The interior need a good clean too - previous owner was a woman with two small kids, and a big ass dog

A 50mm drop in front and a 30mm rear would really make it look better, and maybe a set og 16" or 17" on it. Iīm totally in love with the original Fiat Barchetta wheels - sad that they are only 15".

    Fresh out
    Brian

good stuff. If its an early mk2 then get the floor treated for rust ASAP, its starting to be a real problem now.

Plans sound good! 15" can look good on them with a 50mm drop

    Thanks for the welcome guys.

So far so good. Had the Punto for a week now, and itīs growing on me. I drive about 100 miles in it each day, and the engine keeps getting better and better.
The previous owner drove it in the city a lot, and the engine could hardly move the car! After a full sevice, and loads of bell add foam clener in the cumbustion chambers, and fuel additive combined with a bit of frisky hiway driving itīs coming back to life.

I can only recommend the bell add products - itīs done a good job. It cleans out the cat. and exhaust system too. Itīs a bit hard to come by, but luckily i know a guy at a peuget dealers, who can get it for me.

I have ignored the rust issues for a week now, but i guess i have to but some spare time into it - darn it
