    got another one, couldnt resist

Well i was planning on getting a different car for a change as i have had GT's for the last 8 years. then this came on my radar and i had to snap it up.

only cost me £100, how could i refuse. The shell is in mint condition unlike my last project car which was rusty when i started and turned to dust after a year.

It's a R reg gt2, has a gt1 blown engine which i will be swapping for my gt3 engine. it's the first GT i have ever seen without a sunroof, i was a bit dubious that it might have been a conversion but i had a look on here and have seen other gt's without the sunroof too.
has a lot of past history and hpi checks.

has been sat in a locked garage unmoved for the past two years.
it also has a brand new looking clifford concept 650 alarm, bonus.

Nice one Rick, a good bargain there.

I dont know of many GTs without sunroofs, I think they were only non sunroofs if they had air con, or requested I suppose, but I dont know why you wouldnt want a sunroof?

it's not that i dont want one, but i never really used it on my old one anyway so not bothered. i could hardly turn the car down because of that. was such a bargain.

i dont think it has aircon, i didnt notice any last night but it was pretty dark.

also another strange thing i noticed, the glovebox door has a lock on it, not seen that before either.

I've never seen a GT without a sunroof. Also only ever seen GT1's with lockable gloveboxes.

You sure it's not been reshelled?

yeah i have a lot of history and it all seems genuine. maybe it was just registered late and is a gt1. the p reg yellow gt2 i had before had a gt3 engine and this is a year older with a gt1 engine.

the steering wheel has the fiat bit indented rather than the blue stuck on bit.

i saw hoziboli's gt didnt have a sunroof when i looked last night, dont know of any others.

the abs unit is different as well.

is it worth changing the loom over to the gt3 loom when i change the engine?

or do i just need to extend the icv plug? i would rather not leave the gt1 inlet on there, i just dont like the look of the icv on the rocker cover.

OK let me rephrase. I've never seen a UK GT without a sunroof.
