start the car in the morning and it just runs **** huntting and then if i turn off then start again its a bit better then its fine for the rest of the day

na mate just plays up in the morning and i was thinking it was the cold start sensor
could give it a try, only cost £10 odd for a new one.

No mate, no ones ever had any problem with a punto GT
could also be a vac leak, i had the same symptom in the past and it was one vac pipe left unconnected
