    Arrow Matt Black

    Evening PSC

I had taken my side strips off to spray in Purchese Flash. The code halfords sold was slightly off. So i decided to buy Matt Black and just get them back to black. I didn't want Gloss black as i thought this would look tatty. But with Matt Black after it has been left for 24hours to dry if i spray it with laqure this would end up with being gloss black? Right??

So i don't want to use laqure.

    Thanks Danny

not so much the washing, just them being there, in the sun etc will make the paint come off.

if you want them matt black you can get black plastic paint in an aerosol. this usually sticks to plastics without any prior prep work
    see link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UPOL-PLAST-X-S...d=p3286.c0.m14

. they can be painted body colour but would need to be done professionally with some adhesion promotors and flexible additives in the paint or it would probably flake off
