    Ye he did. And tbh touch wood not many so far. Only bit really needs tweeking in the fueling as its very very rich when i floor it and its not the best at cruising at low rpm all the time. Apart from that done 200 trouble free miles

    Well have put quite a few miles on it now so decided it was safe to take it to the place i normally dyno the cars to see what the difference would be. Tbh i was expecting to run around 125-135bhp

    Well after around 30mins or so we got in on the rollers after being "the worst car they had ever dyno'd" (same place that did my silver sporting aswell).

    so got it into the rollers and it sat on the sills. So jacked the back up put some wood under and tried, was no good was sitting on anti-roll bar.

    So then jacked upt up to raise the back of the ramp which ended up working well




    Think it was very close




    and here are the results -




    an impressive 162bhp and 200lb ft torque.

    Very impressive mate what engine is it? Just a standard 1.2??

    I know it's turbo I meant a 1.2

    I'll be honest at first i thought all that effert for not much gain but 162 is great from a 1.2 well done impresive

    With munkul building it had to be something good. He is a very good chap. Liking the Punto matt!

    what turbo is that??... and it looks like it spools quite early on the 1.2 engine thats impressive mate

    thanks people, its a garrett 1549 iirc off a mg/rover diesel. You can hear the turbo come in around 2k but after 2.5k is when you know it has kicked in lol.

    And yes it is basically a 1.2 8v engine with 866cam. Need to add a few other bits to it when i get time then new manifolds and stuff getting made over winter so might get more power out of it once i decide on what ecu system to choose

    The flow rate on the lower spec engines is much better aswell brad, x flow heads etc
