    Quick Question or 2

    Hi Guy's,

I joined a few days ago though still cant post to the general forum ?

I am looking to replace the "steel" wheels on my Punto Converatble 1.2 - with origanal alloys off a 1.6 convertable ... what kind of studs would I need If I bought those alloys ? Any links to where I can buy them ? or would my studs from my steelies do?

1998-1999 Punto Covertable - Alloys looking to purchase - Origanal Punto

    Cheers,

    Stephan.

you wont need spigot rings or spacers

but you will need longer wheel bolts.

Correct! Going from steels to alloys you will need longer bolts

    Thanks..

    Thanks Beau,

I kinda thought I would need longer bolts, as we are on the subject, what size of alloys could a Fiat Punto Covertable take, I was also thinking of 15inch ... do some of you guys run 17inch with low profiles?

I wanted to keep the car standard as possible, the origanal steels with trims just seem to take the edge of this amazing look car..

I know Fiat's need specific alloys compared to other cars..

    Thanks for your response :-)

    Stephan.

16" are limit without real arch work. 17" doesn't take too much work to fit. 18" will fit too but require even more work. Fudge knows about 19" and 20". Anything is possible though!
