High Spec GT3 - Fudge For Sale

Here is my pride and joy, nicknamed Fudge for sale.

Fudge began life as a bog standard 1.2 75sx punto. A few little mods started the bug to turn it into something special, first it was lowered, then the alloys, then came the bodywork. None of which are now on the car. While she looked good, she didn’t move very quick so I opted for a 1.4 punto GT turbo conversion, and with a few mods would easily see 160bhp. A friend was helping me through the conversion with the use of his lock up to do the work, unfortunately he tragically, and suddenly passed away half way through the project, so with two cars and mountains of parts, I continued and finished the project myself, completing the conversion a few months later. It was that friend who nicknamed her ‘Fudge’ due to my personal plate.

With engine after engine giving up, she had 3 engines or rebuilds within 2 years, I had decided to do thing properly.
New body parts, some custom made were purchased. Then with use of a college workshop (thanks Dad) I prepped the car, and set about making up my own paint and sprayed it on! The bodywork and the paint is truly a one off.

Now with the looks in place I spent too much money getting parts to build an engine that would make it the one of quickest 1.4 punto's in the uk. It took 4 months on building in my spare time with many little problems to overcome along the way.

I could have bought a house by now im sure, but as the saying goes, you can sleep in your car, but you cant race your house!
