How you getting on with it? I really like the look of it and the spec seems pretty good. Problem is I've hated the last few Nokia's I've had because they kept crashing.Same as me, just took out a contract with vodafone as i wanted the n97. So far so good

My old o2 contract was infact bumped down to a -£10 contract for my brother... He uses it on his iphone hes had for 18months and i negotiated a web bolt on, unlimited usage for th edge or whatever, the sales person aware it was for an iphone that wasnt on an iphone contract but since hes upgraded the software to the recent update it woudnt use the edge. Apparently its somethign Apple have put into the software to bloke this or that out, it really is getting quote stupid as im sure they get all they're fookin money from o2.
ive only managed to crash it once which was my own fault anyway. Rather than crash and reset it has a habit of closing the program im in. Tends to happen too much with my opera browser, just hoping that upcoming fixes will sort it.
Other than that i love it, having a proper keyboard is brilliant for when typing out a long message like this, the touchscreen is perfect and no other faults i can think of, but ive always been a nokia fan and have been waiting for this phone since february

I knew it, Nokia have a habbit of releasing phones with bugs and fixing them once they are out instead of fixing them before they are released. It's crap.ive only managed to crash it once which was my own fault anyway. Rather than crash and reset it has a habit of closing the program im in. Ive just got a free upgrade (as i lost my N95 8gb) to and N96 16gb....I hate it. Its slow, the buttons feel cheap. Always been a nokia fan, especially their smart phones up until now. My contract is up for renewal in september still not sure what to go for.
oh my point was. stay away from the n96
I had the same problem. I thought the N96 was in improvement over the N95 8Gb. Camera had focusing for macro etc. it was free.
