Dan you coming down to AI? would be good to go out in this andof course see you
FLOL Dan, on those 3ft roads down to your Dads??
Im going to be nipping Leeds on the odd weekends so could pop in one sunday evening!
Cheers guys, ive took it for the blast this evening and spanked it on the lanes and its just unreal when you dare to push it more than usual, im probably miles off what it can actual do... When the exhaust gets hot it does sound the tatas too, i need a new catback though as the antilag and fireballs have ruined the the insides of this one and it doesnt sound AS good anymore.
When is AI Mike? Id like a trip down if its not my weekend working maybe..
looks smart as always but i think the old comps looked better.
Looks fappin saweeeeet Dan!
My exhaust has done the same Dan, I don't think it sounds as tuned as when I first got it, sounds a bit dirty.
Yeah mine is just a loud below these days Si, im keeping my eyes open for a nice cat-back, titanium would be nice!
Because the weather was so lovely on friday and my undertray is off i decided to fit those bulbs and have a clean, tbh i should of planned it abit better and got some supplies in to spray my grills too!
Bumper off, surprisingly simple!
To expose this
Some Cillit Bang later and BANG!
Also fitted some PIAA sport horns, much better!!!
Changed the rusty old bolts i could for new ones, therapeuuuuuutic!!
Got on to fitting the bulbs and cleaning the clusters up, didnt quite go to plan though!
These SMD side light bulbs were temperamental to start with, but after swapping and changing they did work, bright... even in bright sun!
This SMD bulb looks the same as the OEM one yeah? Well it fitted in the plug fine albeit a little tightly...
Neither bulb worked, where the OEM ones did minutes before but when i tried to remove the bulbs to check them the first one wouldnt come out of the plug! And in the end it snapped into two!!! FUUUUUCCCCCKKK!
Even worse it left the snapped part in the plug and its stuck fast, not coming out, permanent, grrr! Fook knows apart from getting another pair of plugs and swapping them in, luckily they're the fogs and are hardly used,.
Back on and finished tidying up..
looks nice how much did those counter sunk washers and bolts cost u they look pucka and i could do with canging most of the bolts in my bay for new 1's anyway
They're not cheap Mike. In the region of £1-2 per fixing. The bolts are alumnium so you cant put them in anything load bearing, if you want fancy nuts for the engine you need to us Ti ones.
